For decades, the Friends have been the heartbeat of our local library. We believe a great community deserves a world-class library, and through five decades of dedicated financial support, we’ve helped keep the shelves full and the programs thriving. Today, the Friends boasts a Board that is 16 members strong – both women and men – and over 60 volunteers.

On October 11, 2025, the Friends of the Woodland Hills Branch Library celebrated a historic milestone: our 50th Anniversary. To honor the five decades of community and literary support, members gathered for a festive afternoon filled with lively activities, refreshments, and door prizes. It was a wonderful opportunity to honor our shared history and the many dedicated volunteers who have made our work possible since 1975.
